Breaking the gatecamp

Just chilling out and about and suddenly we get in a call about a camp on the Aeschee gate in Adirain by a friendly. He says us he is stuck there and sums up an overview on the ships that are sitting there. Immediately some of the tactical coordinaters get together and talk over what we will need and start to get us all ready to scramble on said location.

Everybody is prepping and getting the ships out that were asked for trying to get to inital RV point as fast as possible. Hellfleet team has to warp in from Lisbaetanne and comes in a bit later so we decided to warp imediately to the target location as the main fleet is jumping into Adirain already.

We arrive a bit late and things go hectic for a bit as the fleet drops in and sees a lot of hostile ships. The FC takes control quickly though and starts calling the primaries and secondaries. As it's hard to keep up it seems the fire of our fleet gets distracted a bit at some points and the calls for reppers are lost once in a while resulting in the losses of a few friendlies. Overal we managed to smack down most of the hostile fleet as we taken out 15 of the 20 hostile ships. So mission accomplished we could say..

We make sure we loot all the wrecks and get everything out as the FC organises a dropout away from the gate for after the looting as we are expecting some more company still. The company never drops in and we end up talking things over in the safe as we head over to the final RV point to get into safety again to sit out GCC and centralize all loot so it can be spread out where it needs to be to cover the losses that we have on our side.
We aren't totally happy with the result as we want to make sure we have less losses next time. It seems everybody agrees that spreading of fire has to be controlled more and that we need to make sure we are all heading towards the anchorpoint for reppers. We decide we will work on this for the next sort alike battle.
